Yesterday, LingBiao Sintered stone reached a cooperation agreement with Viomi to provide sintered stone as the surface of Viomi’s smart appliances.
Viomi Technology, backed up by Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi, is a Chinese manufacturer that develops and sells Internet-of-Things enabled home products.
The strategic partnership between these two company gives Viomi access to Xiaomi’s ecosystem users, market and data resources and related support. Meanwhile, Viomi’s strong research and development capabilities and innovative products and services also enrich Xiaomi’s suite of offerings, resulting in a mutually beneficial relationship.
Viomi opened for trading on the Nasdaq in September 2018 for $9 a share, raising $102.6 million. Their underwriters included Morgan Stanley and China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities.
In order to further consolidate the underlying technical architecture, Viomi also invited the 2006 Nobel Prize winner in Physics, George Smoot, as chief AI scientist. Professor George is currently engaged in research on the application of AI in the field of life and health. His main artificial intelligence medical technology has been listed as a national priority development project by the United States.
