On October 4, 2020, the first production line of the new energy-saving ultra-thin sintered stone of Hebei LingBiao Technology Development Co., Ltd. officially started in Lulong County, Qinhuangdao, Hebei. That is the first sintered stone production line in the northern China! On August 14, 2021, the ignition ceremony of the second intelligent production line of 3mm sintered stone of LingBiao Technology was held in the production base. This production line will realize more flexibility of the sintered stone and customize to enhance products competitiveness.

1.Ceramics China: hello, Mr. Xue! Could you please introduce “LingBiao Technology”?
Xue Jian: Hebei LingBiao Technology Development Co., Ltd. is a sintered stone manufacturer integrating R&D, design, production, sales, and service. It has the first sintered stone production line in the north of China and is a large format sintered stone manufacturer in the northern region.
The company has a total investment of 2.08 billion yuan and covers about an area of about 266,667 square meters. It has introduced an Italian SACMI compression molding system + automatic density detector, SYSTEM compression system, and SYSTEM inkjet machine. , AirPower intelligent glaze spray cabinet, AirPower dry granulator, and other imported intelligent sintered stone production equipment.
With the concept of “Industry 4.0”, LingBiao Technology fully empowers the brand’s intelligent transformation from the aspects of low carbon, energy-saving, cleaner production, environmental protection, product technology process, and intelligent automation.
2.Ceramics China: “LingBiao Technology” is the first sintered stone manufacturer in the north of China. What made you join the sintered stone field at first?
Xue Jian: I have been engaged in the artificial stone industry and intensively cultivated in the quartz stone market for many years before I started the production of LingBiao Technology. I learned about the sintered stone at an Italian exhibition and realized that sintered stone has more various applications than ceramics, so it can explore more application possibilities and have a good development prospect. In 2019, due to the promotion of industry demand, the strengthening of local economic construction, the transformation trend of building materials, etc., I decided to put into the first sintered stone production line in the north of China in Qinhuangdao, and the LingBiao technology was officially born.
3.Ceramics China: What achievements has your company achieved in production and sales in the past 2021?
Xue Jian: In terms of production, in the beginning, we have encountered many technical difficulties, but our hard-working staff overcame all of them finally. We have established a research team and absorbed top talents and technologies in the industry. At last, our hard work has broken through one technical barrier after another. In August 2021, the product named “Landscape” successfully challenged the Guinness World Record as the world’s largest format sintered stone slab. It is also proof of our production strength.
In terms of sales, in 2021, we have successfully signed many well-known brands of furniture, cabinets, and home appliances, laying a solid foundation for the start of the year in 2022, and the cooperation has been becoming nationwide. It can be said that 2021 was the year of achievement, and we handed over a satisfactory answer to the society, the market, and ourselves.

4.Ceramics China: What do you think are the differences and advantages of “LingBiao Technology” compared with southern enterprises in terms of the sintered stone design, R&D, and production?
Xue Jian: As we all know, major ceramic manufacturers of sintered stone and ceramic products are mainly in the south of China. Kaolin and clay in the south have good properties and are very suitable for the manufacture of ceramic products. But in fact, northern China also has excellent raw materials. We use the northern potash feldspar and albite resources and innovative raw material ratio scheme to produce excellent products with good physical and chemical properties. And we also have industry-leading whiteness of the sintered stone.
In terms of design and research and development, our relevant teams regularly visit for learning and discussing domestically and overseas, participate in international exhibitions from time to time and invite masters, and are committed to product design that is in line with international standards. It can be said that our goal is to be a world-class brand manufacturer of the sintered stone.
5.Ceramics China: What do you think of the current development of the sintered stone market?
Xue Jian: The development of the sintered stone market is relatively mature today. It has reached a mature stage in terms of popularity, market acceptance, and index stability. Of course, this has also led to fierce competition in the industry, and industrial integration will accelerate. Today, the channel strategies and brand building of each factory and brand have taken shape. Perhaps shortly, the industry will usher in a reshuffle. Those brands with clear strategic plans, the right to speak in channels, and competitive product and service capabilities must be the final winner.
6.Ceramics China: According to incomplete statistics, there are nearly 100 new production lines of the sintered stone in 2021. Facing such a fiercely competitiveness, what is your company’s next development plan? What are the plans for product innovation?
Xue Jian: The company’s next plan mainly focuses on the following points.The first is to enrich the brand. To establish the brand’s visual, voice, and memory system, we will create a differentiated brand image to empower products. The second is to become more intelligent. The intelligent warehousing system greatly improves the accuracy and timeline. The third is further upgrade of product design, process, and research. The fourth is to strengthen supporting service capabilities to solve problems for customers. In terms of product innovation, we will cooperate with well-known domestic academies of fine arts, presenting the master’s skills and inspiration on the sintered stone. We will develop more sizes and thicknesses and explore more suitable colors or surfaces in various application, integrating more design elements such as history, humanities, and natural features makes the sintered stone slabs full of vitality. Innovation will be the most important keyword for the development of LingBiao this year.
